Los Alcazares Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Los Alcazares Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
Evenings in July, open-air cinema and music in Yecla
Performances outside the church of San Francisco in Yecla
A series of open-air concerts and cinema screening are being held with the collaboration of the “Odeon” film club outside the church of San Francisco in Yecla this July, offering outdoor evening entertainment at the extremely affordable price of just two euros.
The program for the month is as follows:
Thursday July 4: Screening of Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig.
Thursday July 11: Screening of “A todo tren 2”, starring Paz Vega, Paz Padilla, Santiago Segura and Leo Harlem.
Wednesday July 17: “Yecla y sus voces”, a show presented by the José Antonio Cecilia academy.
Thursday July 18: Screening of “Flamenco Flamenco” directed by Carlos Saura.
Friday July 19: Music from Los amigos del Chete.
Wednesday July 24: “Compartiendo emociones”, a show by Los Ruiseñores.
Friday July 26: “Aires Frescos”, a flamenco spectacle.
All events begin at 19.30 and tickets are available in advance from the Teatro Concha Segura (on Wednesdays from 19.30 to 21.00) or at the venue an hour before the entertainment begins.
