The K-Pop universe has landed in Cartagena, and Espacio Mediterráneo is the place to be. The shopping centre is celebrating its 19th anniversary with its lively K-Pop Backstage event, which kicked off on May 15 and is already rocking the centre with music, dance and all kinds of fun, youthful energy.

 

Running through to Sunday May 31, the event has transformed the centre into an immersive world inspired by Korean pop culture. There are creative workshops, dance sessions, themed photocalls and the K-Pop Corner Zone, where visitors can play games linked to the shopping centre app and win prizes. It is all about feeling like a real K-Pop star for the day, even if just for a few minutes.

 

The local touch is strong too. Espacio Mediterráneo is hosting a dance contest with amateur groups from the Cartagena area, giving local talent a proper stage. And then there is the grand finale on Sunday May 31, when the centre will host a live show with artists dressed as K-Pop idols. Expect high-energy choreography, live performances and a friendly meet-and-greet with the public.
