Parties, processions and children’s during the festive season in the municipality of Mazarrón

As ever the festive season in Mazarrón is being marked by a series of events and activities, many of them designed for youngsters but with parties for the grown-ups thrown into the mix for good measure!

The schedule published by the Town Hall includes the following:

Monday December 22

16.30: Father Christmas visits the Plaza Toneleros in Puerto de Mazarrón to greet children and take delivery of their present letters.

Wednesday December 24

11.00 to 19.30: Children’s activities and live entertainment in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Mazarrón as part of the “La Plaza en Navidad” programme.

11.30: Father Christmas visits the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Mazarrón to greet children and take delivery of their present letters.

16.30: Santa takes a trip to the Salón Teatro in La Majada.

Midnight: Christmas party in the Plaza de Abastos food market in Puerto de Mazarrón. Click here for more details.

Friday December 26

17.00: A Christmas sweets workshop in the Salón Teatro in La Majada.

Saturday December 27

11.00 to 19.30: Children’s activities and live entertainment in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Mazarrón as part of the “La Plaza en Navidad” programme.

Sunday December 28

Monday January 5

16.30: The Three Kings parade in Puerto de Mazarrón, from the fishing port to the church of San José.

20.00: The Three Kings parade in Mazarrón, from the Jardín de la Paz along the Avenida de la Constitución and then to the Town Hall.

Tuesday January 6

10.30: Hot chocolate in the Centro Social of Cañada de Gallego is followed at 11.30 by the Living Nativity Scene with the Three Kings and at 12.00 Mass is held in the local church. Gallego.
