The municipal nativity scene of Alhama de Murcia is an essential part of the festive season, as it is in all parts of Spain, and the tableau will be officially opened and blessed at 11.00 on 21st December.

It then remains on display at the Plaza de Abastos in normal opening hours, Monday to Saturday 9.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 20.00, Sundays 11.00 to 14.00 only. The Plaza is closed to the public on 25th and 31st December and 6th January.
