Could you spare a few hours to volunteer with HELP Murcia Mar Menor?
Even a few hours a week could help the long-running charity raise more money for local good causes

Could you spare a few hours a week and fancy doing something useful for your local community? HELP Murcia Mar Menor is looking for new volunteers to join its team.
The local non-profit charity has been supporting good causes in the area since 2002, raising money for people and organisations that need a helping hand. It relies heavily on its volunteers to keep everything running, and is now looking for more people to get involved.
There are currently opportunities in three different areas, so there could be something to suit a range of skills and interests.
Office volunteers
The charity needs people to help with the day-to-day running of its office in Los Alcázares.
Tasks include answering enquiries, filing, data entry, administration and other general office duties. It's a chance to help keep the charity organised behind the scenes and make sure its work can continue smoothly.
Outlet volunteers
If you'd rather be out and about meeting people, HELP is also looking for volunteers for its Outlet shop in San Javier.
Volunteers help serve customers, sort through donations, price items and keep the shop looking tidy and welcoming.
It's a great way to meet other people while helping the charity raise money for local causes.
Van drivers
HELP also needs van drivers to collect and deliver donations and customer orders for the Outlet.
You'll need a full clean driving licence for this role, but it's an important part of keeping the charity's operation moving and making sure donations get where they're needed.
You don't have to commit to huge amounts of time either. Even a few hours a week can make a real difference, with every volunteer hour helping HELP raise more money for local good causes.
HELP Murcia Mar Menor will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2027, making this a particularly exciting time to join its volunteer team.
If you'd like to find out more or offer your time, email helpmmm@gmail.com or visit the charity's website.
You can also find HELP Murcia Mar Menor on Facebook and support the charity by sharing its volunteer appeal with friends, family and local groups.
