Campoder unveils 178km of scenic trails with hands-on exhibition through Murcia
Eight towns invite residents and visitors to explore the region’s wild side

To help you get started, Campoder is taking its interactive exhibition on the road, so everyone can get a glimpse of what makes each place so special, without even putting on hiking boots.
Think large collage-style photos, practical maps for the routes, and nuggets of local insight, from hidden coves and old mine trails near Mazarrón, to Mediterranean strolls in Águilas, mountain crafts in Totana and lush landscapes around Lorca. The panels celebrate not just the places, but the people, stories and traditions that shape each stop on the network. There are easy-to-scan QR codes for anyone keen to dig deeper, plan a trip, or simply imagine their next countryside walk.
Whether you’re a casual walker looking for a gentle route or training for a cycling challenge, there’s something for everyone. Each trail’s been mapped out for safety and accessibility, so families, locals and serious trekkers alike can enjoy the experience.
The exhibition kicked off in Mazarrón on Tuesday August 20 and will make its way through all eight towns until Saturday October 5, so keep your eyes peeled for it popping up in local parks and squares.
Campoder has been championing rural life and responsible tourism in this region for the last 25 years, always with an eye on preserving what makes these places unique.
