Booking now open for free guided visits to the Roman amphitheatre of Cartagena

See for yourself the progress in excavating the 2,000-year-old arena

As of 9.00 on Tuesday 24th February booking is open for the free guided tours of the Roman amphitheatre in Cartagena, where excavation is still under way as more and more of the 2,000-year-old arena is gradually uncovered.

The first tour takes place on Saturday 28^th February and they continue at weekends throughout the month of March. Each visit begins at the panoramic lift in Calle Gisbert at 10.30 and prior booking is essential (click online here for reservations). A maximum group size of 30 has been established.
