Los Alcazares Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Los Alcazares Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
August 8 Guided tour IN ENGLISH of the old centre of Alhama de Murcia
An English-speaking guide will lead the route through Alhama de Murcia
The tourist office in Alhama de Murcia is holding a guided walking tour of the town centre in English for the benefit of both residents and visitors at 11.00 on Saturday June 17, starting at the Los Baños archaeological museum.
The route includes several culturally and historically important sites and buildings in Alhama, such as the church of San Lázaro, the Plaza Vieja, El Pósito, the Casa de la Tercia, the Jardín de los Mártires and the Casa Consistorial, as well as entry to the Los Baños Archaeological Museum, where remains of Roman baths later reused by the Moors can be seen.
An official guide will conduct the 90-minute tour in English and tickets cost just three euros for adults and two euros for children up to 12 years old. Payment should be made at the museum when the tour party convenes.
