August 15 Olympics: Free street comedy theatre in Santiago de la Ribera

The Jardines del Príncipe de Asturias host this popular visual interactive comedy

The 55^th annual Festival of Theatre, Dance and Music in San Javier continues on Wednesday 20^th August with a free performance by the Yllana company of their show “Olympics”, which has met with great success already this year at a number of venues in the Region of Murcia.

The performance begins at 22.00 in the Puerto Tomás Maestre in the Jardines del Príncipe de Asturias in Santiago de la Ribera (click for map), with admission free of charge.

The plot of “Olympics”, an interactive visual comedy, involves four athletes who have not been selected to compete in the Games so they decide to hold their own competition, with the protagonists played by Sergio Alarcón, Elia Estrada, David Terol and Emmanuel Vizcaíno. As they become more and more competitive, plenty of surreal slapstick ensures!
