April 12 Free guided hike to Malvariche in the Sierra Espuña

A 7-km hike and a chance to feature in the videoclip for the song Malvariche, Malvariche

This special event is being held by the tourist board of Alhama de Murcia on Sunday 12^th April, consisting of a trip by coach to Casas Nuevas in the mountains of Sierra Espuña and then a 7-km hike to the area of Malvariche (click for map), well-known in the municipality due to its association with the annual fiestas in early May.

Once at Malvariche a videoclip will be filmed of the song "Malvariche, Malvariche" before the participants enjoy a meal and then head back to town.

The excursion is free of charge but prior registration is required online here. Participants are advised to wear appropriate hiking clothes and footwear and to bring plenty of drinking water and a snack.
