Andalucía weekly weather forecast October 5-8: Rain continues with showers and storms on the Atlantic coast
Another unsettled week across Andalucía with widespread rain, coastal storm risk and temperatures easing further into autumn territory
The grey, showery pattern that dominated the first weekend of October shows no sign of clearing just yet. This week brings more of the same across Andalucía, with rain on each day and storm risk on Monday and Tuesday, though temperatures remain mild enough to serve as a reminder that we're not fully into autumn just yet.Monday October 5
Andalucía weather forecast, Monday October 5A broadly cloudy start to the week, with light rain possible across much of the region and the chance of heavier showers and thunderstorms on the Atlantic coast and in the eastern mountain ranges. Temperatures change little in the far west, rising elsewhere. Moderate southerly winds along the Atlantic coast, with moderate to strong easterlies through the Strait of Gibraltar keeping Cádiz and Tarifa breezy. Winds are light and variable inland.
Tuesday October 6
Andalucía weather forecast, Tuesday October 6The rain spreads more widely today, with cloudy skies and light to moderate rainfall across most of Andalucía. The western mountains are most at risk of heavier showers and thunderstorms. Seville, at a pleasant 29°C, is the warmest spot in the region, while temperatures broadly dip across the interior, with a notable drop in maximums on the Atlantic side. Most places sit in the mid to high twenties. Huelva sees some of the livelier weather as the showers push inland from the coast. Winds are light to moderate and variable, with moderate to strong easterlies again in the Strait.
Wednesday October 7
Andalucía weather forecast, Wednesday October 7A calmer feel, though still unsettled. Partly cloudy skies with scattered light to moderate rain, less organised than earlier in the week. Almería is the warmest at around 28°C, while Jaén sits noticeably cooler at 23°C, illustrating the temperature split between coast and interior. Minimums decrease or hold steady and maximums edge lower or change little. Winds are light and predominantly westerly.
Thursday October 8
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday October 8Rain returns more broadly again, heavier in the far west and in the eastern interior mountains, where a thunderstorm or two remain possible. Temperatures fall in the far east but hold steady or nudge slightly upward elsewhere. Minimums continue to ease. Winds stay light and variable throughout, with Granada and the eastern hills still catching the worst of the mountain activity.
It stays wet and rather grey through the week, but with daytime temperatures holding in the mid to high twenties in most places, it's autumn with a warm edge rather than anything more severe.
Min and max temperatures in Andalucía this week

- Tuesday October 6: Min 15ºC; Max 29ºC
- Wednesday October 7: Min 14ºC; Max 28ºC
- Thursday October 8: Min 11ºC; Max 28ºC
