Alicante weather forecast Oct 26-29: Temperatures climb to 28°C before showers return

After a spell of torrential rain and storms last week, Alicante province is set for a brighter and warmer start to the new week. Sunshine should dominate on Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures reaching the high 20s in some areas, although the risk of showers is expected to increase from Wednesday.
Monday October 26
Monday should be mostly sunny and dry across the province, with pleasant temperatures for late October. Alicante city is forecast to reach around 27°C, while Elche could see highs in the mid to high 20s. Inland areas will also enjoy plenty of sunshine, although the morning will feel cooler away from the coast.
Tuesday October 27
Tuesday looks like the warmest day of the week so far in many coastal areas, with Alicante city expected to reach around 28°C. Long sunny spells are forecast across much of the province, including Orihuela and the southern Costa Blanca, where temperatures should climb into the mid to high 20s. Rain is unlikely during the day, although some cloud may develop later.
Wednesday October 28
Conditions could become more unsettled on Wednesday, with increasing cloud and a chance of showers or thunderstorms in parts of the province. Alicante city is forecast to reach around 26°C, but the risk of rain rises during the afternoon, particularly in coastal areas. Even where showers develop, temperatures should remain relatively mild.
Thursday October 29
Thursday is expected to bring a mixture of sunshine and cloud, with a continued chance of rain in some locations. Alicante city could reach around 25°C, while temperatures are likely to be a little lower in northern and inland parts of the province. The weather may improve as the day progresses, but local forecasts should be checked for the latest details.
