Alicante weather forecast June 8-11: Warm and largely sunny with a brief cloudy spell midweek
After a weekend of slightly cooler temperatures the heat is creeping back up along the Costa Blanca this week

Average temperatures expected on Wednesday June 10
The weekend brought a little breathing space after some intense heat and although it stayed warm with plenty of sunshine, temperatures dipped slightly and cloud cover increased, giving everyone a chance to recover.
Heading into the new week, conditions are broadly settled and warm along the Costa Blanca, with one slightly unsettled day to navigate midweek before things brighten up again towards the end of the week.
Monday June 8

A partly cloudy start to the week, with cloud building inland during the afternoon. Minimum temperatures are much the same as the weekend, but maximums are on their way back up. Winds are coming from the northeast along the coast and light and variable elsewhere, shifting to a light easterly and south-easterly direction by the afternoon.
Tuesday June 9

A mainly clear day with some low cloud coming and going during the first half of the day and again in the late afternoon. Minimums nudge slightly higher but maximums ease back a little, though the drop along the coast is fairly modest so it'll still feel warm. Winds are light and variable for much of the day before turning to a light north-easterly in the afternoon, with some moderate gusts possible along the coast.
Wednesday June 10

The cloudiest day of the four, with low cloud rolling in at intervals and a chance of some light rain in the southern Valencia area during the morning. It's not expected to amount to much, but worth knowing about if you're heading out. Winds along the Alicante coast are north-westerly with some moderate spells, particularly around Alicante itself, before shifting to a light easterly during the second half of the day.
Thursday June 11

A much more pleasant picture as we approach the end of the working week, with clear skies and just some high cloud drifting through. Northern Alicante may see a little low cloud in the morning but it should clear through. Inland Valencia sees temperatures rising again, while the coast stays much the same. Winds are north-easterly along the Alicante coast, turning to a light easterly and south-easterly during the afternoon.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in the Alicante this week:
- Monday June 8: Min 15ºC, Max 32ºC
- Tuesday June 9: Min 17ºC, Max 30ºC
- Wednesday June 10: Min 16ºC, Max 30ºC
- Thursday June 11: Min 16ºC, Max 28ºC
