The Town Hall of Alhama de Murcia has released a communiqué to inform people that on Tuesday July 15 and Wednesday 16, disinfection treatments will be carried out in the canine recreation areas located in Nueva Espuña and Calle Villalar.

 

These treatments will be carried out during daylight hours, by means of a spraying system, using the bactericidal product PIPICAN (dxsa). This is a treatment with bactericidal and deodorising properties, according to the Town Hall, which is completely harmless for people and pets.

 

“The aim of this is to maintain public spaces for pets in optimal conditions of hygiene and health, guaranteeing the safety and well-being of all users,” they said.

 

They did, however, point out that the time and date of these treatments “could be modified in the event of adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances”.

 

They ended by thanking residents for their cooperation and understanding, and apologised for any possible inconvenience these works may cause.
