A bright but chilly weekend ahead for Murcia: Weather forecast January 8-11
There will also be some stiff winds for northern Murcia, mainly on Friday
Murcia weather forecast, Friday January 9The weekend weather forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for the Region of Murcia over the next few days is for uniformly bright and sunny days, with some scattered high cloud cover, though it will be brisk and a bit blustery, especially on Friday.
Thursday January 8
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday January 8Aemet’s forecast for Thursday is for “partly cloudy or clear skies” with “temperatures rising”, though they do note there will be “light frost in the mountains” and “light to moderate westerly winds” of up to 24kmh.
Minimum temperatures will be 0ºC in northern municipalities like Caravaca de la Cruz and around 5ºC in Cartagena and central Murcia, while maximums will be up to 15ºC pretty much across the board. These temperatures will remain fairly stable as the weekend goes on.
Friday January 9
Murcia weather warnings, Friday January 9Friday continues this bright and brisk trend, even while there is rain just across Murcia’s western border. However, Murcia will suffer the addition of strong winds up to 40kmh in the north and northeast of the Region, and Aemet has even issued low level yellow weather alerts for these areas, noting that there could be occasional gusts of up to 70kmh. So hold onto your hats if you’re going up north.

Murcia weather forecast, Saturday January 10Saturday will bring “skies with intervals of medium and high clouds”. Temperatures will be “unchanged or falling,” according to Aemet, while the winds will have dropped to a “light to moderate north-westerly”.
Sunday January 11
Murcia minimum and maximum temperatures, Sunday January 11The story is not much changed on Sunday, though minimum temperatures will drop slightly for northern areas and rise by a couple of degrees in the south, while maximums will rise inland and remain unchanged elsewhere.
