83-year-old man dies after swimming at a Los Alcázares beach
Emergency services were on the scene but were unable to save the man’s life
This Sunday October 6 at 5.42pm, the emergency services were called to a beach in Los Narejos, Los Alcázares, after an elderly gentleman came out of the water vomiting. At the time it was believed that he had swallowed a significant amount of water.
An ambulance from the Civil Protection service of Los Alcázares was dispatched to the scene, alongside a mobile emergency unit from the 061 Emergency and Urgent Care Department.
After attempting to revive the gentleman who had lost consciousness, at 6.05pm the medical staff sadly confirmed that the man had died.
