4 year fixed term membership deals at the prestigious La Quinta Club in La Manga Club
Accessible entry into one of the most sought-after leisure complexes in Europe
Such is the prestige of La Manga Club that it could be imagined that membership of the exclusive La Quinta Club multi-ownership development at the heart of the resort is out of reach for all but the very well-off, but a special 4-year “fixed term” scheme brings it well within the limits of far more modest budgets.
The five-star La Quinta Club has forged a reputation over the last three decades as one of the finest clubs of its kind in Europe, and is located in lush tropical gardens on the hillside above the par-47 pitch and putt course of La Manga Club. It is within easy walking distance of the tennis centre and the shopping malls of Bellaluz, La Plaza and Las Sabinas, and the properties included are luxury air-conditioned linked villas built in the traditional Andalusian style and with views out across La Manga Club towards the Mar Menor. Members are also entitled to enjoy the community’s heated swimming pool with swim-up pool bar, where drinks and snacks are served throughout the day, and of course the onsite La Solana bar and restaurant.
La Quinta is very definitely a family-orientated place, and to further cater for younger clients the children’s playground and the main swimming pool were completely renovated in 2018.
Membership weeks are sold in “colour bands” and therefore welcome different types of clientèle at different times of the year. January, February and March are Yellow Weeks, when typically for retired clients visiting for up to 8 weeks at a time, Green Weeks are in spring and autumn, when Members generally come to play golf and tennis and participate in a highly active walking group, Blue Weeks in the late spring and early autumn attract those who enjoy the weather warm but not too hot and the Red Weeks are the traditional peak season during school and college holidays.
4-year membership deals start at just 4,200 euros to be a part of this club, with conditions stipulated as follows:
- A 4-year ‘Fixed Term’ membership may be purchased by both existing La Quinta Club members and non-Members, by paying a one-off payment (equivalent to 4 x years’ dues).
- ‘Fixed Term’ weeks may not be sold or transferred to either an existing member or a non-member.
- ‘Fixed Term’ week owners are entitled to have two owners’ cards during their stay at the La Quinta Club.
- ‘Fixed Term’ week owners may attend Annual General Meetings but will have no voting rights and may not participate in discussions without the approval of the Chairman.
- ‘Fixed Term’ weeks may be booked as normal weeks as per La Quinta Club's ‘Guide to reservations’ with the exception that these weeks may only be accrued up to end of but not beyond the date of termination.
- ‘Fixed Term’ weeks may not be rented through the La Quinta Club's rental scheme. However, they may be rented privately or used by relatives or friends.
- Upgrading or downgrading of ‘Fixed Term’ weeks is permitted as per guide to reservations and promotions.
- ‘Fixed Term’ weeks may be exchanged through any of the exchange companies to which La Quinta Club is affiliated.
- Electricity charges are not included and must be paid before departure.
- The membership certificate must be returned to La Quinta Club before the date of termination with the surrender section filled in and countersigned.
